The GSB aluminum shadow gap skirting profile by Skystyle is a modern profile system for creating a neat shadow gap where the floor meets the wall or the wall meets the ceiling.

The design allows an adjustable shadow gap from 10 to 34 mm, depending on the design concept and technical requirements. The crisp shadow line emphasizes the geometry of the room and looks particularly impressive when combined with integrated LED lighting.

GSB is ideally suited to modern minimalist interiors where clean lines, the absence of a traditional skirting board, and functionality are important.

The standard 2-meter length is chosen for convenient transportation, storage, and installation. For special projects, profiles can be manufactured in longer lengths of 2.5 m / 3.0 m / 3.5 m

LED lighting and diffuser

The profile features a special channel for installing an LED strip up to 8 mm wide.

The included diffuser performs two functions at once:

1. It diffuses the light output, helping to create softer and more uniform illumination around the perimeter.
2. It helps align and connect adjacent sections of the profile on the same plane during installation.

The diffuser is installed into the profile with light finger pressure.

The LED strip is not included. Our managers will help you choose a suitable LED strip, power supply, and lighting control system.

Installation

The profile is installed using mounting adhesive.

The outer and inner corners of the profile are cut at a 45° angle.

Thanks to its well-designed geometry and aluminum thickness, the profile provides high stability and allows a straight shadow gap to be formed along the entire length of the structure.
