WÜRTH Diamond Dry Core Bit 6 mm, 1/4″ Hexagonal Shank (W78)

The WÜRTH Ø6 mm diamond dry core bit has been specially developed for fast and precise dry drilling in tiles and extremely hard materials. It is suitable for use with standard electric and cordless drills. The standard 1/4″ hexagonal shank ensures a secure grip in the drill chuck and prevents slipping during operation.

The vacuum diamond coating provides fast drilling performance, while the special cooling wax inside the tool helps dissipate heat during use. No water is required for drilling.

Instructions for use:

• Start drilling with the rotating bit held at an angle, then gradually move it into a perpendicular position.
• Light circular movements help increase drilling speed and extend the service life of the bit.
• Do not use impact mode.
• Use a drilling speed of at least 1000 rpm.
• When drilling continuously for more than approximately 30 seconds, pause briefly to allow the bit to cool down.
• More frequent cooling pauses are recommended when drilling thicker materials.
• Higher speeds reduce drilling time and, according to Würth, help extend the service life of the tool.

NB! This diamond core bit is designed for dry drilling — no water is required. To maximise service life, allow the tool to cool down regularly and follow the manufacturer’s recommended drilling procedure.
