CCT LED modular bars are installed behind the stretch ceiling membrane, inside a light box or light panel, on a flat and properly prepared surface.
CCT bars allow the light color temperature to be adjusted from 3000K to 6500K — from warm white to cool white. A CCT controller is required for their operation, and control is carried out using a compatible remote control, wall panel or other control device.
Recommended installation procedure:
- Mark the position of the CCT LED bars inside the structure.
- For standard installation, it is recommended to maintain a distance of approximately 150 mm between adjacent bars.
-
For uniform light distribution, the recommended light box depth is at least 80 mm. In other words, the distance from the LED modules to the light-diffusing surface should be at least 80 mm. Before final installation, it is recommended to switch on the CCT modules and perform a test, positioning the light-diffusing surface at a distance of 80, 100 mm or more. Visually determine the optimal distance at which the light is distributed most evenly and individual LED modules are not visible.
- Securely fasten the bars to the base, avoiding bending, deformation or mechanical damage.
- Connect the CCT LED bars to the CCT controller, strictly following the connection diagram and channel polarity.
- Connect the CCT controller to an external power supply of the appropriate voltage.
- To control color temperature and brightness, connect a compatible remote control, wall panel, touch panel or other control interface provided by the system.
- The CCT controller power rating must correspond to the total power of the connected LED bars. With a high load, several controllers, signal amplifiers or division of the system into separate zones may be required.
- The power supply is recommended to be selected with a 20–30% reserve relative to the total power of the connected CCT LED bars.
- Before final assembly of the structure, be sure to check the operation of the entire system: color temperature adjustment, brightness control and uniformity of the illuminated field.
- All electrical connections must be made in compliance with applicable electrical safety requirements.
- To create a fully illuminated stretch ceiling, a special light-transmitting PVC or textile membrane designed for such structures must be used.
- The structure is recommended to be made as airtight as possible to prevent dust, debris and insects from entering. Any contaminants that get onto the light-diffusing membrane may become visible when the backlight is switched on.
When installing fully illuminated stretch ceilings, it is additionally recommended to install a fully transparent GLASS protective membrane to prevent contaminants from reaching the main light-diffusing surface.
Important: the distance between the CCT LED bars and the structure depth may be adjusted depending on the type of light-diffusing material, required brightness, system power and required uniformity of the illuminated field.
Additionally: CCT LED modular bars for full 3000K–6500K color temperature adjustment must operate via a compatible CCT controller with a remote control or control panel.
