3D Mounting Platform for Recessed Luminaires (3D6)

The 3D6 mounting panel allows you to achieve a recessed lighting effect in a stretch ceiling. This platform enables the light source to be positioned deeper than the ceiling level, creating a highly aesthetic and refined appearance.

Installation: The embedded part is installed before the stretch ceiling is mounted. It can be attached using a perforated mounting strap to align the platform with the ceiling sag, or it can be rigidly fixed with metal brackets if the ceiling does not sag, allowing the platform to be mounted flush with the ceiling level.

Once the stretch ceiling is installed, a ring (included in the kit) is glued in the center using cyanoacrylate adhesive. An opening is then cut out within the ring. The inner part of the platform (the cup) is inserted into the ring and secured to the main part with screws. During this process, the ceiling film is continuously heated with a heat gun to avoid damage.

Finally, the light source (GU10 lamp or LED module) is installed into the platform and fixed with a retaining ring.
