3D recessed component for space ventilation behind the ceiling (3D2)

The 3D recessed panel is designed to install a ventilation grille at the same level as the stretched‑ceiling fabric, creating the effect of an embedded diffuser. This solution delivers a neat, minimalist and premium look that is ideal for modern interiors.

Because of its platform design, the ventilation grille integrates into the ceiling in the most aesthetic way, with no protruding elements or visible technical details.

Installation

The recessed panel is installed before stretching the ceiling fabric.

Two mounting options are available:

1. On perforated mounting tape – used for precise alignment of the platform, taking into account possible sagging of the fabric.
2. Rigid fastening to metal brackets – applied when the fabric has no sag and the platform can be set directly at the future ceiling level.

After stretching the fabric:

• In the centre of the platform a hole is cut 15–20 mm smaller in diameter than the outer edge of the mounting ring.
• The fabric is fixed between a silicone fastener and the platform body using a putty knife.
• The ventilation grille is installed into the mounting opening.

Versatility

Panels of this type can be manufactured for various grille shapes:

• round
• square
• rectangular
• oval
• black or white (custom colours on request)

This allows the system to be used with almost any ceiling diffuser and ventilation grille type.
