3D Deep Recessed Light Mounting Component (3D2)

The 3D recessed light mounting panel creates the effect of recessed lighting in stretch ceilings. The platform allows the light fixture to be positioned slightly deeper into the ceiling, enhancing the overall aesthetic. The design of the platform also allows for the installation of a light filter, such as a honeycomb or any other pattern, to enhance both comfort and visual appeal.

This model is compatible with light fixtures that have an external diameter of 120 mm. NEXTEC 16W 3000K and 16W 4000K light fixtures are perfect for this solution.

Installation Instructions:

The mounting panel is installed before the stretch ceiling fabric is installed. It can be attached to a perforated mounting tape to level the platform according to any fabric sag, or it can be mounted rigidly to metal brackets if there is no sag, allowing the platform to be installed flush with the fabric.

After the fabric is stretched, a hole is cut in the center, 15–20 mm smaller in diameter than the outer edge of the platform. The fabric is then fixed between the silicone stopper and the platform casing with a spatula. The light fixture is then installed into the mounting hole as usual.
